Pehchan Foundation
Pehchan is one of the only NGOs in Mumbai working to improve the lives of the city's 150,000 homeless citizens. We empower the homeless, mainly women, to understand their rights and gain access to essential documents and programs, including food rations and government poverty-alleviation initiatives. Our task is enormous. We are a small team working to tackle one of the most difficult situations in the city.
